League client kept crashing in champion select.

The client kept crashing in champion select and now I am being placed in a lower priority queue and have to wait 20 minutes before every game. Also had 2 of my ranked games count as losses because the client kept crashing. I tried reinstalling League of Legends but I had the same problem.
