[Gameplay] Blue buff losing a lot of patience after Sion's Q
So. I jungle Sion
fairly often and this has come up more and more. Should my teammates hit the Blue Buff, I start at Blue with a leash as Sion so I have no idea if this will work at other camps, the monster will aggro and begin to chase them and thus lose patience. This is fine. I will then intercept it and begin to draw its aggro to me. I start Q and it is my primary source of clear in the jungle. I normally fully charge it because I can tank damage while charging and I'll end up taking less damage over all because a fully charged Q's stun length is nothing to laugh at. Now the part that I don't get is why when I hit it with a fully charged q and stun it. It will begin to lose patience again for the duration it isn't combat because of being stunned. I'm not moving away from it. I'm not bouncing it around to other nearby champions or targets. I'm trying to tank it to finish it off with my Q. It is pretty annoying because sometimes I'll die because of the reset if I continue to try to clear it. Or I will have to back after my first camp as Sion when I got a leash.
Step 1. Have a helpful teammate hit the Blue Buff for you and draw its aggro while you are charging up your Q. (It doesn't matter if you are in the camp or a little outside of it. Will still end up triggering.)
Step 2. Hit it with the Q and watch that patience meter drop as you are still auto attacking it and it is stunned up nicely.
Step 3. Continue with normal auto attacking while tanking it because you'd rather it not lose anymore patience.
Step 4. Your Q has come off cooldown. Charge it up and give that Blue Buff a good smack into the air.
Step 5. Watch as the Blue buff continues to lose patience at a rapid rate while it is stunned and you keep on auto attacking it.
Step 6. At this point the Blue buff should be hard resetting (or nearly about to hard reset) and you are left with the decision to finish what you started at low health and try to continue with your clear, back and try to kill it after you get back, or just keep fighting until it dies even if it kills you and use your passive to get the buff anyway.
I cannot make this bug happen without the help of another teammate to attack it before I do but with a teammate drawing aggro first and then I switch the aggro onto me the large patience drop happens every time. 100%. Should I be the one to aggro it first. The Q does take a little patience from it I've noticed but it is not nearly enough to cause any concern. It may not hard reset but the extreme drop in patience happens every time. It isn't an issue later game as you can normally just kill it anyway. But at level 1 when you are trying to clear as fast as you can so you can gank it hurts a lot.
