Skills non visible in Ranked only

So, I've noticed a rather strange phenomenon. In normals I have no problems with skills being invisible or skills not activating, but whenever I play ranked, skills keep being invisible. As an example, we had a fight on Top lane, 4 vs 4. They had Irelia, Karthus, Wu Kong and Lux. Karthus used his wall and I saw Irelia's Ultimate animation play. But there was no visual ultimate on the ground. It just didn't show until I dashed into it as Sejuani. I got stopped, damaged and died, and then the wall of Irelia's ultimate showed up. Karthus' after death bombardments were invisible twice as well. I haven't had these bugs in Normals, or Aram, or even TT. But EVERY TIME I play ranked, I get these weird visual glitches. Does Ranked use a different client or something? Or does it have some different protocol or database linked or whatever? It's really confusing. Besides that, Sejuani's E is bugged. Stacks build up to 4, but E still grayed out.
