Hextech sion [gameplay]

During two different games, on two different maps, in two different game modes. I was playing my hextech sion skin and my abilities have stopped working. It happened both times about 3/4 the way through the game. I was not watching close enough at my level to see if it was a certain level where the problem starts.

I have been able to get the abilities to work again by putting m q on smartcast and then using it and taking it off. That seems to fix the problem.
