[Gameplay] Vi's q disabled for duration of match

I was playing Vi and tower dove several champions. While charging my q, Fiddlesticks either feared me or silenced me (or both) and the q stopped, but didn't go on cooldown. The rest of the game, the icon reported that it was off cooldown, but I was unable to activate it. Dying did not free it up, and I did not try disconnecting and reconnecting as it was a ranked game and we were doing well enough without it, I didn't want to risk the temporary 4v5 turn around (we won :D). Has anyone else had this happen? This sounds like a few bugs I've heard about in the past. So yeah, might want to avoid playing Vi for a bit.

Workaround is to put it on quickcast > quickcast it (usually there's a short delay between when you activate it and when it starts charging) > take it off quickcast. Works every time for me.

Also it isn't consistent as to how exactly her Q gets disabled (I believe it's if you get CC'd out of your charge and die while it's on cooldown) but it can also happen on-the-go (ex. her charge is interrupted but she doesn't die afterwards). I think just returning to base after it's been canceled and is on cooldown is what makes it stop working; I accidentally charged my Q and immediately recalled in a bot game, causing the Q to be go on cooldown while I went back. Couldn't use it afterwards, so the issue might be with the fountain.

As a Vi main it's a frustrating issue, and I've sent a support ticket to Riot about it, but so far there hasn't been word about any potential fixes.
