WEIRD OCCURENCE AROUND ENTERING/LEAVING LOBBIES

"I was idle on the homepage of the pvp.net client while viewing anime on my google chrome. I'm not too sure how long my idle time was. I soon noticed that my friend had finished a game so I asked him to invite me. A short while later we idled in a blind pick lobby for summoners rift while waiting for another friend to finish (so much awkward waiting). Apparently, he told me that he couldn't see me in the lobby even though he could say the word "joined" in the invite list. He decided to leave the lobby and I re-invited him, only to have a similar occurrence happen. So then I said "let's just make a new lobby" (as I have noticed similar glitches in other lobbies but have never reported them. The problem that arose next was a very troll problem. I pressed quit and, for about 2 seconds, it sent me to the homepage of the client but then immediately went back to the lobby in which I had previously been. I thought that, perhaps, I had been mistaken so I tried again and then same thing happened. I kept trying a few times and also screen shared the problem to my friend over Skype. We came to the conclusion that I might as well just restart the client as I always do for glitches but I wanted to try one last method to try to leave the lobby. I asked him to invite me into a new lobby but what that did was create a prompt stating something along the lines of critical error."
