League Displays won't start - Log initialization failed: Unable to get log directory

Whenever I start League Displays I get the error that League Displays is currently unable to access my %APPDATA%\Local directory.

My user directory is on D:\users and not the standard C:\ users, not sure whether or not these are related though.

Tried all the recommended steps I could Google. Downloaded the latest version of League Displays, uninstalled my version, rebooted my PC, made sure that the content folder was removed as well. Installed it again, but same problem. Tried to run in as Administrator, still the same problem, uninstalled and ran the installer as Administrator, still the same problem. Made sure that my Windows 10 is fully up to date, which it is.

I hope that there is a solution somewhere on the internet, please help.
