Shyvana Q Bug: does not apply additional stack on Guinsoo's Rageblade

I tried using rageblade on shyvana because the devourer was removed from the game, so when I try use shyvana's Q which says "Shyvana strikes twice on her next attack" which does apply hit effects 2 times just like devourer did, for example: applies titanic hydra effect 2 times, gives you 4 stacks on fervor because shyvana is a melee champion, applies both E and W bonus dmg.. and so on.. so when I tried using Q while having Rageblade on my items, it simply only adds one stack instead of 2.

I believe this is because stacking Guinsoo's Rageblade is considered an "on-attack" effect, not an on-hit effect. On-attack effects will only apply on actual basic attacks, and even if you use an ability that triggers on-hit effects twice, it still only counts as one basic attack for on-attack effects.

I don't see how it works with everything including fervor except rageblade, like 4 stacks of fervor on one hit? that's a lot

Stacking Fervor of Battle is considered an on-hit effect. Shyvana's Q applies on-hit effects twice, so it will grant double the amount of stacks of Fervor of Battle.

Stacking Guinsoo's Rageblade, on the other hand, is NOT an on hit effect, it is considered an "on-attack" effect. As I said before, on-attack effects are only applied by actual basic attacks. Even though she strikes twice with it, Shyvana's Q is still only considered one attack, so it will only grant one stack of Guinsoo's Rageblade.

It's weird, I know, but that is currently the way it works.

well I remember when we had devourer, and when you had the old rageblade, devourer effect adds another stack to the rageblade before the bonus dmg effect.
