FIX: If your Bluetooth headset only gets voice chat audio and not in-game sounds
I have the issue that a few people reported. Voice chat comes through my Bluetooth headset, but with low audio quality and no in-game sounds. I found a temporary fix, but it's ugly. The issue has to do with Bluetooth profiles and how audio gets processed for them.
The kludge requires you to turn off a setting on the headset and then using the computer's built-in microphone to pick up your voice.
To turn off the setting and use the computer's microphone:
- Control panel - devices and printers - - Services tab - uncheck "hands free telephony"
- Then ensure that your default playback and recording device is set to the bluetooth headset and mic.
- Go to League Voice settings, select the "Default input device" or whatever microphone you're using that's not on the headset.
PS - I know this is the "Report a Bug" board...didn't know if there was a better place to post this.
