Remake function did not work and caused a loss?

The Ivern never connected, including from the loading screen. 3 minutes went by and the game did not give us the remake option, and typing /remake told us we couldnt remake. Ivern never once connected and never once stepped away from the center of the fountain.

Why was this game not a remake?
