I could click and do everything in champ select, but when I loaded into game I could not click anything. My keyboard was also not working. Like I would be clicking my skills but nothing would happen. I would right click with my mouse but nothing would happen. I just stood in base the whole time and could not do anything. Couldnt even type in in-game chat.
Riot has found that discord overlays were at fault for players being unable to interact with the game, so if you use discord, try turning off your overlays.
If you don't use discord, or disabling the overlays doesn't work, try running League of Legends in administrator mode. You can do this by closing the game, right-clicking on it's icon, and selecting the "Run as Administrator" option.
You should also be careful about using any other additional apps or modifications, as they can be prone to causing issues, and they're not something Riot supports. You can read more about Riot's stance regarding this here: Third Party Applications.
I have brand new gaming keyboard , obviously it works perfectly , and i don't use discord . But I have the same problem , caused me 4 dodged games on row . Of course got penalty and lost all my points when i try really hard to get outta bronze . It really upsets me when i was so close to silver . Please ! Riot should investigate the issue to fix it . it is so annoying and bothering for players who really work hard to get outta bronze .
Another note : i did uninstall the game and reinstall the game . But the issue of ranking is still there .
Happened to me a few days ago too. I had to alt-tab out of the game, restart client altogether and afterwards I was able to play normally.
