After patch 5.2 , nidalee's passive applies to neutral mobs. If you hit a mob (even taht little thing that serves as a ward after you kill it) and apply your passive (hunt) the mob will stop moving. Shorter, nidalee's passive prevents jungle mobs from moving.

This is an intended effect that was not mentioned in the patch notes

That's intended. I think it's in the notes....
