Unlocking screen and scouting other lanes/jungle makes my frame rate DROP

I usually press Y to unlock my screen and click around the map to check out other lanes if they need assistance (I usually play Top/jungle)

However this last patch has made it so every time I unlock my screen and look around my FPS drops from 60 to 13-15FPS and its all so horrible when I'm playing somebody like Morgana or Tristana and like to unlock my screen a lot
