Dropped 3 ranks from one loss??

Hey guys, not sure if this happened to anyone else. I was playing ranked Flex this last weekend and got placed bronze 1. Then I picked up the new patch today (downloaded open beta), lost ONE game and it said "you have been placed in bronze 4".

What the heck happened here??
