Cait ulti blocked by kyle

In aram, me , got targeted by ulti and blocked it (human wall). Status:

ulti WAS NOT activated
health did not drooped
he had 0 armor items

Update: not sure if it matters (of if i saw correctly), but it was close to not get in time between, so the hit was almost at the limit of the character (space that decide if it connects or not, or something like that)

Any chance that Kayle was afk? Afk people who are automatically walking back to the fountain can't take damage. (They used to gain 1000 armor+mr instead)

where can you afk long enough in aram that you in the front of the fight in front of your allies between them and the enemy no one touches you and just as you get kicked you walk in cait's ult line of sight and block the ultimate and as you said take no damage cause you got kicked for leaving

The person could have disconnected somewhere near the tower and Heimerdinger positions himself behind Kayle. It's not incredibly likely that such a scenario happens but it's the most likely case.

I doubt that ... he was in front of me doing the killing and jumped(walked) between me and her to take the hit. Even he noticed (we chat) that it might be a bug, but was too happy with the play to care :))) . And there was no info regarding disconnect/reconnect.

heirmer is in front of kayle in enemy damage range and just as he leaves that range he walks by kayle (not even possible because the guy said that kayle came to block for him) that was afk for aproximately 5 mins as he gets kicked and kayle just happens begins to move to go back to fountain and nulls the damage, and all this time kayle was out of the way enough he couldnt be poked but close enough heimer can get out of a fight and in 1.5 seconds get behind kayle and kayle blocks. kayle would have had to been in enemy range and unless the enemy team is going out of their way to not touch him this is not possible even with flash unless you made one of those speed builds item 1326 item 3172 what ever this speed is + base champ speed you would need at least this much speed for this theory to be realised
