Client crash during champ select

so I have this issue occasionally where I randomly have my client crash, and the issue itself isn't that bad, but when I'm in champion select and my game crashes on me, I get penalized as if I had dodged the match and there's nothing I can do about it, I had it happen twice in a day and ended up with a fifteen minute queue penalty for something I can't control, it needs to be fixed, or at least handled differently, as it is now, I'm paranoid to the point where I can't queue up for ranked matches, I'm fully capable of dropping my own LP without the glitchy client, thanks :P
