Champ select kicking me out with 3-5s left to pick saying I failed to select champ

4 times now I have had champ select kick me out and say I failed to select a champion with 3-5s left on the clock. Now I know I can not leave it till the last second, but it is ridiculous I don't have the full time to select a champion before it kicks me out. Has anyone else had this problem? It has happened to me 4 times the past 2 weeks. Normally I don't care because it's 2 LP but the most recent time was in promo series, so I lost a game because with 5 seconds left on the clock I try to lock in my champ and as I click the button (again 5 second left) it boots me and gives me a loss saying I failed to select a champ.
