[Mac Client] Crashing and inability to reconnect without bugsplatting repeatedly

Since the latest patch, randomly I will experience around 30 seconds of extreme ping (1k+), then the attempting to reconnect icon pops up, and the client bugsplats. This however is not the main issue, the problem is, once I disconnect I am totally unable to get back in game. The client loads back up to 100%, then bugsplat. I've turned off firewall, port-forwarded, reinstalled client, repaired client, all to no success. I just keep trying to load back in until the game ends. This doesn't happen every game, but seems to be about 1/5, so as such I have been avoiding ranked, but can't help feeling bad for ruining the game for 9 others in normals. Anyone else having this problem
