Illaoi: mirror match tentacle spawning [bug]

So I recently played a mirror match with Illaoi on the twisted treeline and realised, that you can spawn enemy tentacles. This happened at least three times: The first time I tried to recall from the jungle with the enemy Illaoi still in lane. While I was recalling, a hostile tentacle spawned right next to me and interrupted my recall. The second time I was already dead for about 4 seconds and the opposing team tried to recall after a fight. Suddenly one of my tentacles erupted right next to them from the ground and killed their Wukong. Then, after I respawned, one of the enemy's tentacles spawned from the fountain's walls and hit me.

I highly doubt, that this is the intended behavior for Illaoi-mirrors and I didn't try to reproduce the bug yet, because I know no one else, who has already bought the champion. Anyone else who experienced something similar?

i haven't paid attention to this but i know when I mirror or even just fight an Illaoi some of the tentacles are very hard to kill. like when the spawn on top of each other, theirs and mine, it is a pain in the ass to kill theirs. Also on live turrets. They spawn like in side the turret and you can't attack them you just end up attacking the turret. Not to mention the hit box animation is off, i feel, as well.
