Unknown direct X error

Today I went to play a game of league, and after I got through champ select, an error message popped up saying that an unknown DirectX error has occurred and League of Legends cannot start. Then it told me to update my drivers. I made sure that all my drivers were up to date, and even reinstalled league. I tried deleting the config file as well, as some other posts have been suggesting, but that did not help either. I tried everything that I could think of before coming here, but I thought that it was worth a shot.

EDIT: after messing around with a bunch of different things, I found that turning my graphics card off allowed me to get into game (with 3 frames a sec, cause no card). I found this strange because i can still run other games that require direct X fine (such as Witcher 3), So I don't think that the problem has to do with my computer. Pls help, I just want to play this great game again

EDIT 2: If anyone else who sees this is having the same issue, I fixed it by enabling GPU scaling in the AMD settings
