PVP.net disconnect = dodge and lost LP?

Was in pregame ranked lobby when i got the pvp disconnect message while the other team was banning. I pressed ok and it immediately put me back to the game client. I tried to join a game and i had a 25 minute wait time before i could join another game and i also lost 10LP. I have good internet connection, my frame rates/ping are always good and i never lag unless its some sort of server issues are happening and everyone is lagging. I don't understand why this counted as a dodge for me, i wasn't even banning so i could have easily reconnected before banning was over. this is an annoying little bug of some sort.
