Yasuo Q bug [GAMEPLAY]

Been having this problem on yas a few times where when I q a target and hit that target but it does no damage and the animation is all funky, at first i thought maybe it just didnt go off but looking at a replay and having this happen several times you will see the cool down for my q goes off. Unfortunately I don't have any more videos of this happening but I will keep recording my yasuo gameplays. I am not 100% sure how it happens but in most cases where it does seem to happen, i notice its after I get CC'd

Yas's Q can be interrupted by CC since it is a channel. The creators of Yasuo wanted his Q to be like an autoattack: applies on-hit effects, can crit, etc. One of the "features" of an autoattack is that it has a wind-up time. When Yasuo's Steel Tempest is in its wind-up cast time and is CC'ed, the animation goes thru but it does no dmg and doesn't go on CD.
