Daily champion select glitch

I got the popup for it and I cannot select one of the characters,there is no way to leave said popup and it comes up with the same effect no matter what I do, closing, re logging, etc, is there a way to fix this?

EDIT: I've found a fix to the problem from Reddit, running task manager and closing it fixes the bug. (im new so I didn't realize that was something you could do, pardon my technological illiteracy)
