Does anyone else get this?

FFS, this is the second time this has happened to me. I go in to pick a champ (clearly picking nami) when my game freezes. is there anyway this could be prevented? Or has anyone else experienced this? I'm playing ranked btw, so if I get kicked, I know I'll lose that 3LP because of this. oh and not to mention be counted for a dodge. :/
