[GAMEPLAY] Practice tool minion pushing glitch
In the practice tool, spamming fast forward will cause an issue with the tower shooting speed. This causes a minion wave to become massive and easily take down towers. In a single game it allowed the top and the middle allied minions to push into the enemy team's fountain within fifteen minutes. Enclosed are a few screenshots. The other issue is, post game, the stats were changed. I attained a creep score (when I sat in the allied fountain at level one throughout the game), I accrued damage against enemy minions, and the game seems to think it went on for a lot longer than it actually did (52 minutes instead of 15 if I understand it correctly).
So to amass the minion waves, I simply sat in spawn the entire game and pressed the "Fast Forward 30 Seconds" button.
Now for why I believe the issue lies with turret shooting speed. Now, the turret does fire at an increased rate during the 30 second fast forward period, but that is only when it is targeting a single minion. Whenever the turret changes targets, it pauses. The pause duration seems equal to that of the game's default rate of fire. What I mean is this.
- For the sake of explaining, let's assume the default firing speed of the turret is 1 shot per second and when fast forwarding it shoots 6 shots per second
- I hit the fast forward button, turret now shoots 6 times per second
- Turret fires 3 shots in quick succession and kills a melee minion.
- Turret then pauses for one full second
- Turret then targets new minion and shoots at the increased rate of fire.
This has worked every time I have tried it, so about five or six times it has occurred with a 100% rate of success.
