Infuriating bug in Champion Select

This has happened before. I remember seeing a dev actually address it in a Reddit bug thread, saying they had changed something to fix it, but it has done nothing. When I am in Champ select, sometimes the game just bugs out, and starts lagging during picks/bans until the timer on my pick/ban RUNS OUT AND I GET BOOTED FOR DODGING. Often times, this will happen once every few days or so, so it's not a big deal. Right now, it just happened to queues in a row. Second time I even got a bug screen when it happened, first time I didn't.

It seems you are aware of this bug, I've seen posts from other players experiencing this, but I've only seen ONE mention from a dev about it, and he didn't respond after it was mentioned that it was still an issue. This was several patches ago, so it seems you are aware of it, but nothing has changed.

Obviously you can't refund the LP or the time wasted, but it is really infuriating when trying to do this in ranked. Even worse if I'm trying to play with friends and they get screwed by this. Do you plan on changing this, or is this bug here to stay?
