Braum/Ezreal One For All I Was Getting Map-Wide Assists In Solo Top, But Not Gold

So i joined a couple friends for a 1 for all and we picked braum as our champion, we went into game i went full ad runes/mastery and went toplane with a dorans blade, health pot and warding totem. Immediately when our team got a kill (which i was in no way involved in (across the map without tp)) I received an assist for the kill. I didn't notice till i got my first solo kill by that time i had gained 5 assists for which i had not participated in. When i noticed i kept checking to see if i was getting the gold for the assists but it didn't appear so at least at the times i remembered to look. I have Curse Voice installed and open, but it was not in active use in the game. I have the Overwolf Teamspeak overlay active during the game. Those were the only other things open on my computer at the time. If you have any questions let me know and ill do my best to respond but i have no idea what was happening.
