Nunu & Willump Consume bug

When Willump eats a small monster or minion, it's supposed to be consumed. You can see this in action here at 1:35. He Consumes the small wraiths and they disappear. But for a few patches now, when he Consumes small monsters and minions, it looks like this (2:12). It plays the same animation, but the wraiths play their death animation like he just bit them. This happens on all their skins, by the way, not just Papercraft. This isn't an obtrusive bug or anything, but consuming small stuff and seeing it disappear was a great feeling, and it being gone so long coupled with how much I play them makes it feel pretty bad. I'd love to have it back. Thanks in advance, Riot.
