game appears in taskbar, but i can only hear the login music. client not displaying

Since a few weeks i had been unable to play league due to some kind of bug. Whenever i try to start up league it's just not displaying anything at all. I do hear the login music and to be able to use my desktop again i do have to alt+tab (while visually i am already on the desktop).

League also seems to be displayed a few times in task manager. (not sure if that's normal or not, just trying to provide as much info as i can)

So i'm not quite sure what's causing the issue and i'm hoping a bit that some of you guys have encountered it before. Anybody knows how to solve this?
