Hextech Chest Drops

There is currently a bug in the hextech system where chests are not dropping. I have a friend that I duo with and he has 3 finished keys and no chests. There are 4 chests built up when you go to the profile page, as if he has access to 4 drops, but no matter how frequently we get S ranks, he cannot get a chest to drop. I am starting to run into the same issue. I only have two chests in my loot page, and I have 4 built up for drops on my profile page, but I cannot get any chests to drop for me either, and I get an S almost every game. I just wanted to make people aware that this is, indeed, a bug. I haven't seen anything recently from riot about it (the last post I saw acknowledging this problem was from 6 months ago). I just thought I would bring up this issue and make riot aware of the problem.

you can only get 1 chest per champion per season.

You can only get one chest per champion per season, so if you keep playing champions that you have already earned a chest with, then you're not going to earn anymore chests.

I have the same problem. I own all champs, get at least S- with a champ I have not got a chest with yet, and never get chests. I have 4 out of 4 available. I play a ton.
