Ranked Lobby Bug

So I was in a ranked lobby, and everyone was choosing their bans and picks. However as soon as it got to my turn to pick, 3 seconds passed and instantly lobby broke saying that I had not locked in with my champion. How could I run out of time if only 3 seconds passed?

Same thing happened to me except it said that someone else had left the lobby and instead I got deducted 3 lp and got a waiting time. I still had like 16 seconds to choose my champ
