Server Connection

So i got through champ select, it was an aram game, but when i went to load in, it wouldnt go to the loading screen and i kept getting a popup that says "cannot connect to server. please try again" or something like that. the two options were "cancel" and "retry". retry restarted the loading, but the same thing happened, and cancel does nothing. I tried shutting down league and restarting it, twice, but it didnt work
