Accepting a game bug

Don't know the exact cause of this bug, but while getting into a match, upon pressing accept, it would recognize that i accepted and go to champion select but wouldnt close the "Accept or Decline" screen, and it would just stay there as if i didnt select an option and you could still click on Accept or Decline but it wouldn't do anything. And since the only way to get rid of it is restarting the game it would give you a penalty, which is unfair. Rito pls fix
