[Client] Mouse speed resetting

I recently got a new computer, an HP Envy Phoenix, and have been running into some problems with my mouse when I play LoL. Each time I start a new game (or start up a replay), my mouse pointer speed gets reset to the default - much slower than I would like - and I have to manually reset it. Not sure why this interaction is occurring. If it helps, I am running Windows 8 right now.

Update: I have done some further testing. The moment when the mouse speed gets reset is the moment when, as the game is loading, that the cursor swaps from the default Windows cursor to the LoL "pointing glove" cursor.

OMG finally!!! Finally someone other than me is posting about this. Mine occurs when I crash. I play on a Macbook Pro and I always turn off mouse acceleration whenever I restart my computer. I turn it off in the Terminal. When league crashes, sometimes when I reconnect my mouse accel is turned back on even though my computer was not restarted.

Same thing has been happening to me lately, glad to see someone else with the same problem. Could really use a fix soon.
