Muramana active animation disables upon death

I have noticed when i have muramana active, the gold swirl around the icon indicating that it is indeed active goes away upon death. It appears that it stays active as toggling it again seems to turn it off, and then i have to toggle it again to get the animation back on. For the sake of mana management and clarity, it would be nice to know positively if it is on with animation. It's not game breaking or anything, but it's a bug I've noticed and thought i would share.
