League client crashes?

Hi yesterday there was a new patch i think it was 6.1. Anyway, my league client was working fine and then after the new patch update when i tried inviting friends. changing my summoners icon and going into my preferences the client crashes :( can anyone help me resolve this asap? Thank you!
