All-Stars Emotes are back!?

Just playing a blind game and decided to flash masteries like the scrub I am, and I get the Team Ice emote instead. I always have the Team Ice icon equipped, because I'm freakin Articuno, but all the sudden I'm able to consistently do the Team Ice emote for no apparent reason, and I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to, considering that ability ended at the end of All-Stars. (Sadly I don't get the cool finisher as well, just the emote) Anyone got a reason for me?
