Ghosted Game Bug

So I was playing a game with my friend and then we were just finishing up our game. As the game ended, like everyone, we clicked the a-okay button to see our post game stuff. Everything was fine until I tried launching another game. When I clicked normal 5v5 then create a lobby, it said i was in a game and told me to restart my client. I did so, and now since then I've been in the reconnect screen. I've reconnected countless times but everytime i try the client crashes. My friend I was playing with experienced the same thing as well, I assume other players from the same game are having the same issue I am having. I dont know how to fix this issue or if riot will fix this issue but any comments will be appreciated. It is also important i forgot to note above that during this game, Riot was doing some in game patches or whatever they do while the servers are live. This possibly could be the cause but I am looking for a fix here. Thanks for reading.
