Client issue with chat

In my homepage the chats and my friend list is not displayed. also, when I am on blind pick and draft pick it just says "connecting..." and then I can't chat to anyone or give the position where I want to play when choosing blind pick. Anyone else having this problem?

I'm having the same problem. RIOT please fix your client! many of us are left out!!
