Drops!

I have an average of 8 to 9 ping (I live in Chicago). But every 2 minutes (some times more or less) the game just completely drops and says I'm attempting to reconnect. It makes it imposible to play. What is happening? Can I fix it? and if so How? I have a lan connection and a wifi if needed. But both do the same.... I need help, I want to play. Is not just me but all my roommates, while it happens we can all still talk to each other on discord. Interesting thing is that YouTube can still play on the background, discord works... > all works but League.
