Braun shield blocking more than projectiles

Just played a game as Blitz against a Braum. His shield blocked my Ultimate every time. It's not a projectile. And if it's programmed as a projectile, then that's the real issue here. Either way, Braum's shield has no business blocking an AOE ability like that. Anyone else ever have issues with Braum blocking things other than "projectiles"? (btw, sorry for the incorrect spelling in the title, Autocorrect doesn't play League).

his shield blocks projectiles AND the first attack that hits him. it also blocks a portion of all subsequent attacks. there's nothing wrong with the coding.

Braum's shield will block projectiles, essentially removing them from the game but it also will reduce the damage taken on the first DAMAGE taken and all other FORMS OF DAMAGE will be negated by 30%-40% depending of level of skill. Therefor if Braum shields he will negate the damage of your ult but will still take the silence, or for example if you were to grab him he would still be grabbed but take no damage. Do note that alot of things in this game are considered a projectile (while blitz's ult is not one of them), you may still be surprised by what it can actually block.
