Hot Key Abilities Stopped Working Can Still Type Though?

This is weird my hot key abilities have stopped working but I can still type in the general chat. Has this happened to anyone else and do you know how to fix the problem?

I had to leave a match cause I said I wasn't playing if my hot keys weren't working. Now I'm temp banned from playing the game which is just ridiculous cause its only co-op vs ai that I was playing.
