Not sure what exactly is happening

Had a strange issue pop up today with my client. I'll start a queue, wait for a bit, then suddenly get booted from the queue for not accepting the afk check. I'll hear the sound of the queue popping immediately after getting booted but nothing else happens, no prompt or anything. On the rare occasion that I get into a lobby and we're banning, the person banning before me will have their time expire (even though they've apparently banned a champion), then suddenly it will become my turn for like 2 seconds then I get booted from the lobby for not picking.

If I can get past champ select, the game seems to run fine. Running diagnostics now, but figured I'd ask if anyone else is having the same issue.
