Janna's pet coin?

I was in game playing Janna when I sold my medallion. Then I approached a coin, which was there for some seconds before I sold the item, and the animation of it jumping on me so I can pick it up kinda bugged and it kept jumping, it felt like lulu's pix. It was following me around like a pet.
