Black Screen after Game client starts up [CLIENT]

Basically, after I've gone through champion select the client starts up but I'm greeted by a black screen where my mouse is frozen and nothing starts up properly. I've tried fixing it by reinstalling, repairing the client, restarting my computer and reconnecting to game. The bug started to occur after I accidentally quit the client while closing other applications to help the game run better. I got a bug splat and when I tried reconnecting I got the first black screen. It also happens when I tried to connect on the PBE client.

I noticed in the logs that the maestro server file had this line in it: INFO: [MaestroMessageAgent_ReadFromSocketInternal] ErrorWARNING: Received 0 bytes on Maestro socket when data was expected.

My guess is it has something to do with the issue but I can't say for sure what that problem is.

I can reproduce it on my computer with 100% of the time. I'm not sure how to reproduce it on other computers though.

My computer specs are as follows: MacBook Pro Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013 Processor: 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7 Memory: 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Graphics: Intel Iris Pro + NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB Software: OS X 10.9.5 (Mavericks)

I'm going to run general diagnostics on my computer to verify that it is not my computer which has a problem. I will add more information once I have done so.

Edit: Diagnostics found nothing problematic hardware wise and I tried connecting as a spectator but it did not work either.
