Inaccurate IP

I seem to be having a repeated issue where, on the top right corner of the new client where it states how much RP and IP I have, the client keeps telling me that I have more IP than I actually have and it can be annoying to deal with since I can never really tell whether or not I have enough IP to purchase a champion or rune or whatnot until I actually exit out of Que and go to the store to attempt to buy the item thinking I have enough, only to be told that I don't. I was wondering if this was an issue that I could deal with on my own (By say, reinstalling the client or something), or if this was an issue that many other people were having that I'd just have to wait for Rito to deal with.
