I was having the patching issue earlier today on my macbook and i uninstalled everything. I re-downloaded LOL and once i click "accept" for the patcher it says: Update Failed... Unspecified Error: please check logs. Please Help, i just want to play
Same thing happened to me. When I went to log in it said "We have restored this installation to an older version of League of Legends. Now we'll try to patch it up to the latest version." I clicked okay and then it said There was a problem Patching League of Legends. We'll restore a backup version and try updating again after you restart the patcher." So I went to uninstall and reinstall it again now all that comes up is a message that says "Unspecified error has occurred. Please check logs for more information." I click retry and it keeps coming back up. I went to the website and it seems this is an issue with riot itself and a lot of people are experiencing the same thing. Hopefully they fix it.
