Rek'sai Tunnel bug [Gameplay]

I was playing Rek'sai. When I went to create a tunnel to escape a fight, zilean ult'd me, and then I died (and then was resurrected) mid tunnel. Only the entrance of the tunnel was made, there was no exit. If you clicked on the tunnel, the tunnel went on cooldown, and acted as a w to switch between burrowed and unburrowed. The entrance of the tunnel stayed for the entire game. This is the first time I have seen it happen.
