Smart ping bug

I know this is not a new bug but I cannot find a solution to the problem.

Frequently when trying to use smart ping, my mouse freaks out and jumps all over. This often causes me to ping incorrectly (i.e. on my way instead of danger) or move in a direction I don't want to move and sometimes miss cs because my mouse is suddenly in the corner of my screen instead of next to my character.

I am on a fresh install on a brand new computer and I still see these issues. While I know it is not the mouse, just for clarification, this has happened to me with three different mice as well. Even though I do not think it matters, I am using a Logitech G900 mouse.

I've been dealing with this issue for literally years but I was really hoping after building a new pc I wouldn't have to deal with this anymore.
