Post Flex Queue "Fix" Placement Match: Ranked Down Immediately Next Game

I originally got placed Silver 3 after the 10 placements before the "fix". After the "potential fix" came out and i did my new placement match it ended up being a remake and i was placed again in Silver 3 following the remake (which I also find it weird that a remake counted as the placement match but oh well). The next match after the remake my team lost and i was automatically demoted from Silver 3 to Silver 4 with having 0 LP instead of the normal ~75 LP after demotion. This also happened to my friend who did his placements with me and also had his post "fix" placement be the remake and when we lost the next game he was demoted from Bronze 4 to Bronze 5 with 0 LP. Is it a bug that both me and my friend were automatically demoted after being placed as well as only having 0 LP instead ~75 LP or is this how the Ranking system is now?
